Booking an appointment

There is a charge of £35 per person to give a Notice of Marriage. This fee must be paid when you make your appointment.

Registrar attending a religious building

A Registrar from the Register Office attending a marriage in a religious building that does not have its own registrar costs £84 a couple, plus £4 for the Marriage Certificate.

Save the ceremony date

You will be able to save the date of your ceremony if the notice of intention appointment is booked but hasn’t yet taken place. If you choose to save the date of your ceremony there will be a charge of £50.00 to be paid today and the remaining cost of your ceremony will need to be paid no later than 3 months before the date of your ceremony.

All ceremonies can be paid in full at the time of booking or you can pay a deposit £50-£75 (Cheylesmore Manor House) £100 (approved venue) if booking between 4-12 months prior to the ceremon (please note this will be deducted from the final balance of the ceremony) or a £50 ‘save the date’ fee between 12-24 months prior to the ceremony. (please note this will not be deducted from the final balance)
