Arranging a ceremony at an approved venue
Please contact the venue direct to discuss your requirements.
Once you have a provisional booking with the venue, they will contact us at the Register Office to arrange for staff to conduct your ceremony. We will then send a confirmation of your booking and further information to you by post.
The fee for attendance of staff at your ceremony from 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022 is as follows:
- Monday – Friday, £520
- Saturday, Sunday and bank holiday, £690
Some of our venues offer ceremonies in the late afternoon and early evening, for which an additional fee is payable to those quoted above.
The fee is valid from 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022.
These fees are in addition to any fees charged by the venue for the use of their facilities.

For marriage and civil partnership ceremonies – Friday, Saturday, Sunday and bank holiday £395.
These fees are valid from 1 April 2021 until 31 March 2022.
